To me, whimsical art is vibrant and playful just like Mother Earth. She always delights and enchants, except if you are naughty! Mother Earth reminds me of so many things, especially of my childhood in South America. It was so carefree. Weaving this, I imaged“Whimsical” as a charming high-spirited path through the endless permutations of our human imagination, wishes, and dreams. Although dramatic, with circles interlaced with reeds and bittersweet this piece leaves the storytelling up to you, and best of all, it fits perfectly in just about every home décor. I made this piece by loosely twisting and turning bittersweet vines with one continuous woven panel of hand dyed green and brown reeds.
