With this landscape I aimed to show more detail to a scene than I had done in any prior landscape (below). I wove this landscape with round reed, and used every strand with different colors to create more detail in the weaving. A single piece of bittersweet was used to make the frame for the weaving.

Tina Puckett's Landscape # 4   Landscape #4   (1997)

H 26" W 34" D 3"

This landscape is a scene depicting a tropical island with beautiful aquamarine-colored water surrounding the island. I used bittersweet to create a frame for the mountains and water. A second, very curly, piece of bittersweet makes the waves approaching the land.

H 36" W 38" D 5"

This landscape is a wallhanger depicting mountains, lake and a sunset. I used bittersweet to create the silhouette of mountains, sun and water. Then I wove each panel its own color to describe land, water and sun.
